AnglerLog

Privacy Policy

Your fishing journal stays on your device.

Effective July 22, 2026 · Applies to AnglerLog version 1.0

Data handling

AnglerLog does not require an account and does not operate a backend for your journal. Trips, catches, gear, saved spots, notes, optional photos, and optional coordinates are stored locally on your device. AnglerLog does not transmit that journal content to us.

Optional device access

AnglerLog may request location access when you choose Use Current Location, camera access when you choose Capture Photo, or photo-library access when you choose a photo. These actions are optional. You can continue logging manually without granting access. AnglerLog does not request background location or tracking permission.

Services and tracking

AnglerLog contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, social feed, cloud synchronization, or third-party runtime service for journal data. Opening Support or Privacy in your browser may require internet access, but AnglerLog does not attach your journal content to those requests.

Deletion and retention

Your journal remains on the device until you edit or delete records, use Delete All Fishing Data, remove the app, or the operating system removes its data. AnglerLog does not provide server recovery or cloud backup. A confirmed deletion may be permanent.
